27. Compounding Fee for various offences.
- The fee for compounding of offences committed under the Act shall be as prescribed in the Schedule XII.The compounding fee shall be credited to the state Government. Section 319 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 shall be taken into account while compounding of an offence, and also for the purpose of prosecution.
