Section 587(2) in Rules under the United Provinces Excise Act, 1910
(2)No licence for the tapping of tree beyond a radius of half a mile from the place of manufacture shall be granted :Provided that the Collector may in his discretion grant licence for the tapping of tree beyond such radius if he is satisfied that for any special reason such licence is necessary.
