FACTS
Heard today dated 14.1.2013. Appellant not present. MES is represented by Shri Manoj Kaushik, Director.
2. In the RTI application dated 4.7.2012, the appellant has claimed to have written 05 letters dated 11.3.2012, 11.4.2012, 9.5.2012, 11.6.2012 and 30.6.2012 to E-in-C's Branch / DG (Pers.) for giving him proforma Promotion. In the RTI application dated 4.7.2012, the appellant has sought to know the action taken on his aforesaid letters.
3. During the hearing, Shri Kaushik submits that these letters are not readily traceable and if the appellant sends fresh copies thereof to him, he will take appropriate action in the matter. Non-traceability of these letters which are claimed to have been sent to MES during March, 2012 to June, 2012, is not understandable. Even so, the appellant is advised to send copies of these letters to Shri Manoj Kaushik, Director, Room No. 164-A, RTI (Cell), Engineer- in-Chief Branch, Kashmir House, New Delhi, who, on receipt of these letters, will ensure that appropriate action is taken by the concerned authorities in 06 weeks time.
4. The matter is decided accordingly.
