Section 23(1)(b) in Punjab School Education Board (Employees Service) Regulation, 1988

(b)The Board, if it is of the opinion that it is in public interest to do so, shall have the absolute right to retire an employee on the date on which he completes twenty five years of qualifying service or attains fifty years of age or any date thereafter to be specified in the notice by giving him three months notice in writing;
