(1)The Academic Council shall consist of following members:-(a)the Vice-ChancellorChairman;(b)the Registrar Secretary;(c)Such other members as may be prescribed in Statutes.(2)The Academic Council shall be the Principal Academic body of the University and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, and the Statutes and the Rules made thereafter, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the University
