60. Statement by Collector regarding Prosecutions stayed and cases compounded.
- The power of staying prosecutions and compounding offences under section 83 (2) of the Act is delegated to Collectors who shall submit to the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority, annually, a statement of the cases in which the power has been exercised.
