35. Prohibition of on screen display.
- No distributor of television channels or broadcaster shall display any notices of disconnection or discontinuation or non-availability of television channels, through multimedia graphics super imposed on full or partial television screens:Provided that it shall be permissible for the distributor to provide such notices through text scrolls at the bottom of the television screens and the size and duration of such scrolls shall be limited in such a manner so as to avoid any material interference in the viewing experience of viewer.
