271. Unconvicted criminal prisoners may purchase books.
- An unconvicted criminal prisoner shall be permitted to purchase at his own expense to obtain from private sources such number of books, as the Superintendent considers reasonable:Provided that no such book is in the opinion of the Superintendent vulgar, obscene, of an objectionable nature or prohibited by Government.
