Section 1 in Karnataka Court-Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1958
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the [Karnataka] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order, 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973.] Court-fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1958.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State of Karnataka] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order, 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973.].(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [Act has come into force on 15.10.1960 by notification. Text of the notification is at the end of the Act.] as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
