Section 17(1) in Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporations Act, 1994
(1)Whenever a new Municipal Corporation is constituted under this Act, there shall be appointed by the State Government, by a notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, a Special Officer to exercise the powers, perform the duties and discharge the functions of,--(a)the Corporation;(b)the Standing Committee;(c)the Commissioner; and(d)the Wards Committee.
