(2)Nothing contained in this Act shall apply to the minor water bodies if any, in the Scheduled Areas in the State of Orissa.Explanation I - Minor water bodies mean the projects which irrigate less than forty hectares of land.Explanation II - Scheduled Areas mean such areas as the President of India may by order declare to be Scheduled Areas, under the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution of India.
