Section 9(2)(b) in The Punjab Home Guards and Civil Defence (Field) Class III Service Rules, 1983

(b)if such person is recruited otherwise -

(i)revert him to his former post; or

(ii)deal with him in such other manner as the terms and conditions of his previous direct appointment permit.
