144. Committal warrant .-A warrant for the committal of a person to a civil prison, or to a military or an Air Force prison or to detention barracks under the provisions of section 165, section 166 or section 170 shall be in the relevant Form given in the Seventh Schedule. Such warrant shall be signed and forwarded by the commanding officer of the prisoner or by an officer superior in command to such commanding officer or by any staff officer of such superior officer.
