1. Short title and extent. -
(1)This Act may be called the Bengal Alienation of Agricultural Land (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1944.(2)It extends to the whole of [West Bengal] [Words substituted by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937.].
