(5)The State Government may appoint one or more Additional Director General of Police, Inspector General of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police, and Superintendent of Police to assist the Director General of Police, and determine, in consultation with Director General of Police, the functions, duties, responsibilities and powers of such officers.
