1. This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of an arbitral tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a Tender Notice dated 24.03.2006.

2. The mandate of the arbitral tribunal was extended from time to time, lastly by order dated 21.07.2023 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 213/2023. The mandate is due to expire on 29.08.2024.

3. I am informed that the award has been reserved by the arbitral tribunal.

4. Ms. Suruchi Suri, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.
