Section 14 in The Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1964
14. Power of State Government to issue orders and directions of a general character in respect of matters relating to licences.-
The State Government may, subject to the provisions of this Act, and the rules made thereunder, issue to licensingauthorities such orders and directions of a general character as it may consider necessary in respect of any matter relating to licences for the exhibition ofcinematograph films; and every licensing authority shall give effect to such orders and directions.
