1. The hearing has been held through video conferencing.
2. The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that the respondent no.2 has not disposed of the application of the petitioner for grant of Duty Free Credit Entitlement under Target Plus Scheme for the year 2005-06 as per the Foreign Trade Policy and in accordance with the Trade Notice dated 08.05.2017 issued by the respondent.
3. Looking into the limited nature of the prayer made, the respondent no.2 is directed to decide on the application of the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from today.
4. Needless to state, in case the petitioner is aggrieved of the decision, it shall be open to the petitioner to challenge the same in accordance with law.
5. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the submissions made by the petitioner in the present petition.
