10. Closing of share registers.
(1)The Central Board [or its Executive Committee] [Inserted by Resn. C.B.S.B.I. , dated 29-11-1994 (w.e.f. 15-10-1993).] may close the [register] [Substituted 'principal register or any one or more of the branch registers' by Resn. C.B.S.B.I. , dated 29-11-1994 (w.e.f. 15-10-1993).] from time to time for such periods, not exceeding four weeks at any one time, as shall, in its opinion, be necessary.(2)[ A notice of the closing of the register shall be published in the Gazette of India and also in not less than two daily newspapers having wide circulation in India.] [Substituted by Resn.
