Section 29 in The Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
29. Sub-committees of Transport Committee.
(1)The Transport Committee may from time to time appoint out of its own body sub-committees consisting of such number of persons as the Committee thinks fit.(2)The Committee may by specific resolution carried by the vote of at least two-thirds of its member present at the meeting delegate any of its powers and duties to a subcommittee and may also by a like resolution define the sphere of business of such subcommittee.(3)The Committee may refer to a sub-committee appointed under sub-section (1) for inquiry and report or for opinion on any matter with which the Committee is competent to deal.
