Section 19(e) in The Tamil Nadu Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Rules, 1971
(e)The licensee shall not, without the permission of the Director, dismantle or disturb any structure found during the excavation operations and shall make adequate arrangements for the safety of such structure and of the excavated antiquities till they are taken charge of by the Director;
