Section 8(1) in The Haryana Service of Engineers, Class I, Public Works Department (Building and Roads Branch), (Public Health Branch) and (Irrigation Branch) respectively Act, 1995
(1)A Committee comprising of such members as may be notified by Government from time to time shall be constituted for Buildings and Roads Branch, Public Health Branch and Irrigation Branch, as the case may be, to prepare a list of officers suitable for promotion to the senior scale of the Service. The selection for inclusion in such list shall be based on merit and suitability in all respects with due regard to seniority.
