Section 9(2) in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964
(2)[Met with at Sea] [Substitued by S.R.O. 17-E, dated 5th July, 1967] - Whenever any of Indian Naval Ships meet, pass or are passed by any vessel wearing the flag or standard of the Head of a State, or the standard of the consort of any Sovereign, they shall salute that flag or standard. All such Shipsshall be dressed as laid down in sub-regulation (1) in accordance with Regulation 44.
