Section 38(1) in The Bharathiar University Act, 1981
(1)No person shall be admitted to a course of study in the University for admission to the examinations for degrees or titles of diplomas of the University unless he-(i)has passed the examinations prescribed therefor; and(ii)fulfils such other conditions as may be prescribed by the University.
