Section 4 in The Electricity Regulatory Commissions (Amendment) Act, 2001
4. Amendment of section 29.-
In section 29 of the principal Act, in sub- section 1, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-" Provided that in States or Union territories where Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission has been constituted, such Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission shall determine different tariff for each of the participating States or Union territories.".
