Section 4(7) in The Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 2007

(7)The pay of a member of the service in the selection Grade, on appointment to the Super Time Scale and in the Super Time Scale, on appointment to the first above Super Time Scale shall be fixed in the same manner as in sub-rule (2) above.
