Section 5(v) in Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009
(v)to hold examinations and confer degrees, diplomas or grant certificates and other academic distinctions or titles on persons subject to such condition as the University may determine and to withdraw or cancel any such degrees, diplomas or certificates and other academic distinctions or titles in the manner prescribed by the Regulations;
