Petitioner claims to be an owner of land measuring 65 kanals, falling under Khasra No. 321, 322, 323 & 1535 situate at Village Sarore. It is urged that a portion of the land in question is sought to be utilized by the respondents for construction of road, without adopting any procedure, as prescribed under the Land Acquisition Act.
Keeping in view the prayer made, this petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction that in case the petitioner's land is required for construction of a road, then proceedings in terms of Land Acquisition Act be resorted to. In case, no such proceedings have been initiated, the respondents shall desist from interfering with the petitioner's possession on the land in question.
Disposed of accordingly along with connected IA.
