Section 23 in The Small Industries Development Bank Of India (General Regulations), 2000*
23. Closing of the register .-The Small Industries Bank may, after giving not less than seven days' previous notice by advertisement in at least two newspapers circulating in India, close the register of shareholders for any period or periods not exceeding in the aggregate forty-five days in each year, but not exceeding thirty days at any one time.
