Order 24/09/2018 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has filed the present writ petition against the interim award dated 2.6.2018 (Annex.11) passed under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('the Act of 1996'), essentially the order is appealable under Section 37 of the Act of 1996 and, therefore, the petitioner may be permitted to convert the present writ petition into an appeal.

In view of the submissions made by counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is permitted to convert the present Writ Petition into a Civil Misc. Appeal, subject to compliance of the requisites and just exceptions.

Office is directed to register the present 'Writ Petition' as 'Civil Misc. Appeal' and list the same before appropriate Bench.

So far as the present writ petition is concerned, for statistical purposes, the same stands disposed of.
