(8)University Librarian: - He shall be responsible for the maintenance and management of the University Library Information System and to guide and co-ordinate library activities of all the constituent units of the University.Subject to the provisions of this Act the Officers of the University referred to in clauses (4) to (9) of section 24 shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed or as may be assigned to them from time to time, by the Vice-Chancellor.
