Section 76(2) in The Corporation of the City of Panaji (Election) Rules, 2004
(2)Immediately on being permitted to vote, the voter shall proceed to the Presiding Officer or the polling officer incharge of the control unit of the voting machine who shall, by pressing the appropriate button on the control unit activate the balloting unit, for recording of voter's vote.
