:ORDER

Mr.R.Janakiramulu, the learned Special Government Pleader has taken notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. Heard both sides.

3. A re'sume' of facts absolutely necessary and germane for the disposal of this writ petition would run thus:

This writ petition is focussed for the purpose of getting the name of the petitioner corrected in the transfer certificate issued by the school authorities viz., the Headmaster, Government Higher Secondary School, Y.Othakadai. In the ration card also the petitioner's son's name is wrongly mentioned as Thanapandi instead of Thangapandi. The petitioner's one other son's initial is also wrongly mentioned as 'V' instead of 'N'. The petitioner prays that the revenue authority be directed to consider his representation for making corrections in the ration card so that correspondingly corrections could be got effected in the transfer certificate also by the school authorities.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader leaves it to the Court to consider it on merits.

5. The above narration would amply make the point clear that apparently the petitioner is having a genuine grievance, which warrants to be dealt with as per law by the revenue official concerned. It is also his grievance that despite having submitted the petition as early as on 26.07.2008 to the respondents, there was no positive response from them. Hence, the following direction is issued:

The third respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 26.07.2008 of the petitioner within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed.
