Section 17(a) in The Weapons of Mass Destruction and their Delivery Systems, Appointment of Advisory Committees and their Powers and Duties Rules, 2006
(a)to make recommendation to the Central Government regarding the steps to be taken to harmonise the provisions of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation Act, 1992) with that of the provisions of the Act;
