SANJAY KUMAR, J. (Oral)

The petitioner, a Municipal Councillor from Ward No.14 of Mahendergarh, District Mahendergarh, seeks to assail the extension of deputation granted to the fourth respondent by the Principal Secretary to the Government, Urban Local Bodies Department, Government of Haryana, vide order dated 11.06.2019 (Annexure P-4).

The petitioner does not claim any personal relief in relation to the extension of deputation and states that the 4th respondent is not entitled to continue on such deputation owing to his antecedents and past performance. In the body of the petition, the petitioner describes herself as the President of the Municipal Committee of Mahendergarh. Even if that be so, the petitioner has no personal cause whereby she can assail the extension of deputation granted to the 4th respondent. In the event she is acting in public interest, her remedy lies elsewhere and not by way of this writ 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 22-12-2019 03:20:06 ::: CWP-36093-2019 -2- petition, as framed.
