Section 33(1) in The West Bengal University of Health Sciences Act, 2002
(1)There shall be three Pro-Vice-Chancellors in the University who shall be appointed by the Executive Council in consultation with the Chancellor in accordance with the regulations made on that behalf:Provided that the first Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Government of West Bengal in consultation with the Chancellor.
