Section 2(1)(ia) in The Securities and Exchange Board Of India (Delisting of Equity Shares) Regulations, 2009

(ia)[ 'acquirer' shall have the same meaning as assigned to it in the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011 and who has chosen to make an offer for delisting the company in accordance with regulation 5A of the said Regulations.
