Section 23(4) in The Insurance Regulatory And Development Authority (Conditions Of Service Of Officers And Other Employees) Regulations, 2000
(4)If an officer and other employee renders less than six months of service in any calendar year, he shall be credited with one day for every twelve days of duty and fractions of a day of earned leave shall be taken as full day if amounting to more than half-only.
