Section 283(1) in Goa Building and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008
(1)The Board may sanction an amount of [fifty thousand rupees] [Substutited 'fifteen thousand rupees' by Notification No. 24/24/2010-LAB/432, dated 10.4.2015.] to the nominees/dependents of a member towards death benefit, in case of death. If the death is due to an accident, during the course of employment, the nominees/dependents of the members shall be given fifty thousand rupees towards death benefit.
