Section 2(1)(ix) in Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test for entry into Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Medical and Dental Courses Rules, 2004

(ix)"Association of Colleges" means the Association of Colleges formed for the purpose of conducting Common Entrance Test referred to in (vii) above, and recognized by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education consisting of Management representatives with one type of colleges offering Medical and allied subjects for which the eligibility criteria is as mentioned in Rule 3(4). (5) and (6) of these rules or the other type of colleges offering Engineering and allied subjects for which the eligibility criteria is as mentioned in rule 3(31 of these rules.
