173. Punishment for breach of rules.
(1)The [Government] [Amended by Act No. III of 1308 F.] may prescribe punishment for breach of rules which may either be imprisonment to the extent of one month or fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or both.(2)Under sub-section (1) punishment on conviction shall be awarded by a magistrate.
