Section 5(1) in The Mineral Conservation and Development Rules, 2017
(1)A scheme of reconnaissance or prospecting prepared and submitted under rule 4 may be modified at any time on geological considerations by the holder of a reconnaissance permit or prospecting licence or prospecting license-cum-mining lease or as directed by the Controller General and Regional Controller or the authorised officer, as the case may be, during continuance of the reconnaissance or prospecting operations.
