(2)No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the [State] [Substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government for or on account of, or in respect of, any act, matter or thing whatsoever purporting to have been done in pursuance of or under the said Act.
