Section 35 in Gujarat Gas (Regulation of Transmission, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2001
35. General Penalty.
- Where a licensee, supplier, bulk consumer or any other person fails without any reasonable cause, to comply with any order, direction or requisition lawfully made or given under any provision of this Act or any rules or regulations made thereunder, he shall, on conviction be punished with imprisonment which may extend to three months or with fine not exceeding two laths of rupees or with both and in the case of a continuing offence with an additional fine not exceeding ten thousand rupees for everyday after the first, during which the offence continues.
