9. Officers.
- The following shall be the officers of the University, namely:-(i)the Chancellor(ii)the Vice-Chancellor(iii)the Registrar; and(iv)such other persons in the service of the University as may be declared by the Statutes to be Officers of the University:Provided that preference will be given to women in the appointment of officers and faculty of the University except in the cases of ex-officio appointees.
