Section 238(1) in The City of Panaji Corporation Act, 2002
(1)Any officer of the Corporation duly authorised in this behalf by the Commissioner may enter into and inspect any market, building, shop, stall, or place used for the sale of any animal, food, drink or drug intended for human consumption or medical treatment or for the preparation, manufacture or storage of the same for sale, and may inspect and examine any such animal, food, drink or drug and any utensil or vessel used for preparing, manufacturing or containing any such food, drink or drug.
