1. Parties are present in person and they have been duly identified by their counsel.
2. This criminal writ petition has been filed by petitioners seeking protection from the private respondent Nos.5 to 9 as they are apprehending danger to their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that both the petitioners are major and are mature enough to take decision of their life. He submits that the petitioners entered into wedlock on 05.03.2024 as per Hindu customs. Learned counsel further submits that petitioners are living peacefully as husband and wife but family members of petitioner No.1 are not happy with their marriage and petitioners are receiving continuous threats from the private respondents, so they prayed for protection.
4. In view of the above factual averments, petitioners are directed to file appropriate application seeking protection before respondent no.4- Station House Officer, Police Station Singhana, District Jhunjhunu and respondent no.4 is directed to provide protection to the petitioners, if any application is filed before him and he would ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners.
5. The criminal writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
6. It is made clear that this order shall not prejudice/affect any other legal proceedings initiated between the parties.
