Section 40(4) in Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015
(4)The listed entity shall not register transfer when any statutory prohibition or any attachment or prohibitory order of a competent authority restrains it from transferring these curities from the name of the transferor(s).
