Section 1 in The Orissa Saw Mills and Saw Pits (Control) Act, 1991
1. Short Title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Orissa Saw Mills and Saw Pits (Control) Act, 1991.(2)It shall extend to the whole of the State of Orissa.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by Notification, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different areas of the State and any reference in this Act to the commencement of this Act shall, in relation to an area, be construed as a reference to the coming into force of this Act in that area.
