Section 5 in Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University Act, 1963
5. University open to all Persons.
- The University shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the statutes, be open to all persons; but nothing in this section shall be deemed to require the University to admit to any course of study a large number of students than may be prescribed.Provided that the Government may reserve seats in colleges -under the University for members of the socially and educationally backward classes, the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes in accordance with such principles as may, from time to time, be determined by the Government in this behalf.
